AutoBox was conceptualised by Vikram Dangi and Keki Modi in July 2016 both of whom have a cumulative experience of over 15 years in the automobile industry responsible for re-introducing the automotive marque Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, Ferrari and BMW Motorrad in India.
Vikram has studied Masters in Business Administration
(MBA) from Cardiff University, Wales, UK; he returned to India to head operations for the
car marque Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, India under the Navnit Group banner in the capacity of
Head of Operations.
Vikram has been single-handedly responsible for re-introducing the Rolls-Royce Motor Cars marque into India in 2006. In his 6 years tenure, he secured many awards such as Highest Sales in APAC, Highest Sales Ratio over the previous year, CRM Database Award, Highest Bespoke Features Installation etc.
Vikram brings on board a vast experience from the luxury and automotive industry with a cumulative work experience of over 15 years.
In 2011 Vikram and his wife Aditi Dangi went onto launch their own venture in the health foods industry called Danz Foods; a unique direct to home monthly subscription service of freshly baked health foods. (India First); This was never done before in the bread industry and was an instant hit with other industries following suit (Pride of Cows Milk, Raw Pressery Juice, Sarda Milk, etc.) Today the Danz Bread subscription base stands 1500 strong and the company is now in a process of introducing other interesting products and expanding into new cities under the able guidance of Aditi Dangi.
At AutoBox Vikram is in-charge of overall operations with current emphasis on App lifecycle & monetization, new app features and strategic tie-ups.
Keki has completed his schooling and college from Singapore and Auckland, NZ respectively, post which Keki returned to India in 2005 to assist his father in consolidating and restructuring his family business, which owns and operates cinemas in Mumbai and Pune, having successfully completing this task Keki was looking forward to a more challenging roll in the corporate world which led him to join Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, under the Navnit Group in 2006 as Product Manager and concluding his 7 year stint at Rolls-Royce Motor Cars as Head Of Operations. Over the years, Keki moved on within the group to initiate the launch and operations of BMW Motorrad. He was instrumental in establishing the brand presence pan India and in his capacity of HoD at BMW Motorrad he also worked alongside the world-renowned California Super Bike School to launch their training school in India. In 2014, when Navnit Motors acquired the Ferrari dealership for South & West India, they turned to Keki to re-establish the brand and set up operations. Keki put together a new team from the ground up, overlooked daily operations and implemented the marketing plan as part of his efforts to revive the Ferrari brand in India. Keki's experience spans the Indian and European markets, and ranges from management consulting to brand development. At AutoBox, Keki is in charge of marketing, sales and customer acquisition strategy.
Yohaan studied Business Administration at University of Plymouth, UK and then returned to
Having a Parsi lineage Yohaan also comes from a family of automobile enthusiasts and his passion for car is contagious to say the least. Which in turn immersed him in the car trade industry early on in his life.
When Yohaan understood the commercial potential behind the AutoBox concept he immediately saw a star and approached to invest. Post investing Yohaan has contributed immensely in the used car vertical and is spearheading to make it one of the core service offering at AutoBox.
Having studied BDS from Mumbai University Aditi
followed up on this degree by practicing under renowned dental surgeon Dr. Sandesh Mayekar.
Wanting to start her own business Aditi then enrolled for the “Start Your Business –
Entrepreneurship” course at S P Jain Institute of Management.
Aditi then went on to work at Magnanimous Ventures Pvt. Ltd, a company specializing in consultancy and hand holding services for overseas luxury goods companies that wish to set up operations in India. She was Head – Client Services in-charge of following accounts: St. Regis, Cartier, Ferrari, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, Holiday Inn, Mont Blanc, etc.
Post her three-year stint at Magnanimous she decided to join her own outfit at Danz Foods Pvt Ltd as a fulltime Executive Director. Aditi is now in-charge of the overall operations of Danz.
